The bad: Because of the brothels, the street has been known outside Düsseldorf for decades. Now the establishments are to make way for apartments. For good. Naturally, this is welcomed by politicians, residents and businesses. Fame is fleeting, doubtful fame even more so.
The good: Roger Klüh was the first Düsseldorf resident to receive a "highly official award from the Cuban government" for his record boat ride. A screech of Castro was read out. Viva!
