Roger Klüh set a world record in 2015 with his speedboat "Apache Star" with start number 50 on the route from Key West, USA to Havana, Cuba. Under the circumstances of the still existing embargo, the world record went down in the history of international understanding. For his achievements, Roger Klüh received the highest award, the José Martí Order, from Raúl Castro in early 2016 and was a guest at Fidel Castro's funeral.
