Roger Klüh nach Speedboot-Rekord in Havanna gefeiert

Roger Klüh celebrated after speed boat record in Havana

Roger Klüh actually made it: The businessman (50) from Düsseldorf broke the record for the crossing from Key West, Florida, to Havana, Cuba, which had existed since 1958.

On Saturday he covered the distance with his speedboat "Apache Star" (2,750 hp) in one and a half hours, although he had to stop for a quarter of an hour on the way due to technical difficulties.

The press not only celebrated the record as a sporting achievement, but also as a contribution to international understanding, one of the declared goals of Roger Klüh, whose father Josef Klüh (Klüh Service Management) and his wife Ahlem and Roger's girlfriend Coco celebrating the record driver at the Hemingway Yacht Club.
